As Janelas Verdes, one of the boutique hotels from the Heritage Collection was once again distinguished internationally integrating the list of “The Hot 100 Best Hotels in Europe” in the Sunday Times Travel section.
This publication describes this 100% Portuguese unit as “an 18th century Palace, stuffed with antiques and old world charm. The lovely library has a well-stocked Honesty Bar and a tiled Terrace offering views over the Tagus River. Breakfast in the flower-filled courtyard is a delight”.
The Sunday Time’s selection suggests independent hotels where charm and style are privileged, as well as personality, they are also alternative to the luxury chain hotels.
In addition to As Janelas Verdes, the Heritage Hotels Lisboa are composed by; the Heritage Av Liberdade Hotel, which was designed by the Portuguese architect Miguel Câncio Martins; Hotel Britania, design by the famous Portuguese architect Cassiano Branco and recently renovated into its original Art Deco style; the Hotel Lisboa Plaza decorated by Graça Viterbo, where various environments are combined within the hotel and Solar Do Castelo, situated within the walls of São Jorge Castle, a reconstructed 1765’s Palace.
